What We Do

We proactively participate with the community by funding environmental programs through our Manatee Fish & Game Conservation Fund at the Manatee Community Foundation.
We model sound practices to conserve fish and wildlife in Florida's natural habitats.​

Preserving Lost Florida

Pledged $25,000 to Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast for the purchase of the Johnson Preserve to support Save the Woods
​in Eastern Manatee County.

Protecting Habitats

Hosted 22 Annual Environmental Summit meetings to discuss environmental platforms with candidates and address local environmental issues.

Teaching Stewardship

Continue to provide lunch for the Manasota Environthon and Future Farmers of America Land Judging Competition. 
We are planning the 39th Annual Jerry Hill Kids Fishing Tournament to take place on May 9, 2026 at Tom Bennett Park.

to allow us to continue our grant program for environmental scholarships, environmental education and habitat preservation. We are the only Environmental Fund currently available through the Manatee Community Foundation
